The Silesian University of Technology and the Gliwice Sports Club “Piast” will cooperate in establishing the Gliwice Sports Academy. The University of Technology wants to be active in creating new public spaces, such as the Sports Academy and the revitalization of the Czechowice Lake recreation center.
As a result of the project activities, the Academy and Lake Czechowice will become modern sports premises, training and recreation center; a comprehensively developed, high-standard area with preserved natural water, natural and landscape values, modern infrastructure and many attractions.
After comprehensive revitalization, users will be able to use the running and cycling routes, as well as the fairways and rest in beautiful surroundings between trainings. The whole area will stand out with a well-built functional and spatial program tailored to the needs of users and development plans, the economics of solutions, attractiveness, interesting design and innovation.
