Silesian University of Technology signed the agreement on scientific and didactic cooperation with the School No. 1 and Secondary School No. 1 with Bilingual Departments in Jastrzębie Zdrój. The agreement was signed by the rector of the university, Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk and director of the school Patryk Mochnacz.

The Rector emphasized that maintaining a close relationship with secondary schools is very important for the university. “I think we have a very interesting teaching offer that can interest every student. Every year, we modify it a bit, to keep up with the expectations of young people and trends on the labor market, “he said.

Under the agreement, the university will provide scientific supervision to the experimental class, implementing the extended mathematics program with elements of the academic curriculum. The pupils will take part in classes at the university – in lectures, laboratory and science clubs. The students, on the other hand, will practice subject-methodical and pedagogical practices at school.
