University of Technology has established cooperation with Rudpol-OPA. The partners will jointly implement the device to assess the degree of wear of surgical drills.

The project will involve primarily the department of biomedical engineering. – For our department, wide cooperation is extremely important, especially since we have ambitious development plans. We want solutions from our laboratories to be revived for the benefit of industry – says the dean of the faculty, Prof. Marek Gzik.

Under the agreement, the Silesian University of Technology undertook to perform a service and research work entitled “Development of a design, implementation documentation and implementation of a working prototype device for assessing the degree of wear of surgical drills”.
