Center for Advanced Technologies of Security and Defense of the Silesian University of Technology and Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów S.A. invite participants to the symposium “Autonomous combat systems – the future or the present?”

The Symposium will take place on November 15 in the Bureau of the Education and Congress Center of the Silesian University of Technology at Konarskiego 18B in Gliwice. During the symposium, 12 papers will be delivered. Speakers include representatives of the Ministry of National Defense, industry and scientists from the Silesian University of Technology, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Military University of Technology in Warsaw and the Pedagogical University in Krakow.

The organizers are planning to discuss the ethical and political challenges related to the use of autonomous combat systems and the presentation of funding opportunities for scientific and research defense projects from the European Union funds.
