The Transform4Europe alliance, of which the University of Silesia is a member, has announced the winners of the Innovative Teaching Award. Among the winners was Dr Magdalena Christ from the Faculty of Social Sciences. The jury appreciated her project “ABC of visual thinking and graphic notetaking”.

The aim of the competition was to identify, recognise and appreciate innovative teaching practices, provide opportunities for sharing and exchanging role models, and encourage cooperation between higher education institutions in the Transform4Europe alliance.

The activities proposed by the laureate aim to introduce participants to the theories underlying visual thinking, as well as to representatives of graphic notetaking (sketchnoting) and their work as inspiration for development in this area. During the course, students will acquire skills in organising and presenting their thoughts in the form of visual notes, which can enhance various aspects of professional life.
