The scientific club from the Gdańsk University of Technology won the Red Rose competition. This year, the statuette and scholarship in the amount of 12 thousand PLN was received by the SimLE Inter-Faculty Scientific Club, which defeated 7 clubs from Pomeranian universities in the final.

SimLE is a science club whose aim is to carry out technical projects, including: Stardust (mission of stratospheric balloons, construction of a vacuum chamber and rocket stabilization system), SimBa (construction of actively controlled low-level rockets), Seafarer (construction of an autonomous sailing yacht) and Skyhawk (construction of the Cessna 172N aircraft simulator).

Students from SimLE cooperate with Pomeranian business. With the developer Hossa, they adapted one of the Gdańsk tenement houses, creating a dormitory for 21 students. They also worked with the Remontowa Holding group on the creation of an interactive exhibition at the Maritime Museum in Gdańsk and with a company Space Forest for preparing the test platform for the stratospheric rocket stabilization system.
