Slavonic linguists from the Department of Slavonic Philology at the University of Lodz (UŁ) became the laureates of this year’s National Program for the Development of Humanities (Universal 2.1 module), financed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The winning project was “English Translation and the publication of the American monograph” Lexington Books” by I. Petrov “From incunabula to the first grammars. Contexts for the development of the Bulgarian literary language (late 15th – early 17th century).”
The two-year grant assumes a professional translation of the monograph of Dr Ivan N. Petrov, published by the University of Lodz Publishing House. It will be published in the American scientific publishing house Lexington Books, which is part of the international Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group.
This publishing house specializes in publishing high-quality scientific publications covering primarily humanities and social sciences.
