The boat designed by the students of the Ocean Engineering and Shipbuilding of Gdańsk University of Technology took the 7th place in the general classification of the solar boat world championship. This is the best result among all representatives of Polish universities.

The boat of Gdansk University GUT SOLAR1 took part in competitions in Groningen and Leeuwarden in the Netherlands, finally taking 7th place for 22 starting units.
