At the beginning of November 2021, the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) will announce a call for applications for the “Solidarity with Belarus – Solidarity with scientists” program.   

As part of last year’s program carried out in cooperation with the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, 35 scientists from Belarus received their scholarships.

The program is an expression of solidarity with the Belarusian academic community. Its goal is to support the repressed scientists from Belarus by enabling them to conduct unrestricted research and teaching in academic and scientific institutions in Poland.

Belarussian organizations carrying out research and development may apply for this funding.

A scientist participating in the program must be a citizen of Belarus, holding at least a doctoral degree, who cannot conduct unrestricted scientific research due to the political situation in Belarus and whose stay in Poland is no longer than from the beginning of 2021.

Applying process will last until November 30.
