The Szymon Szymonowic State Higher School in Zamość (UPZ) received permission of the Minister of Education and Science to establish MA nursing studies both in the full-time and part-time form. The application process will start on March 1, 2021.

The master’s studies will allow graduates of the undergraduate studies of the UPZ and other universities to continue their studies close to their place of residence. Until now, having obtained a BA diploma, they had to travel to larger academic centers. Now it won’t be necessary. Master’s studies will also be available to people who already work in the profession and would like to upgrade their education.

The launched MA nursing studies are in line with the University’s strategy and mission, and nursing can meet the growing social requirements, because it will base the practice on specific scientific knowledge and on qualified professionals, – said Dr Beata Biernacka, head of the Department of Nursing of the University of Warsaw.
