The State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Chełm together with the Włodawa Poviat want to create a Physics Park with a planetarium.

The rectors of the State Higher Vocational School and the Poviat signed an agreement on constructing Physics Park with the planetarium in Włodawa.

Włodawa Park of Physics will be a smaller copy of the French Parc de la Villette, one of the most famous facilities of this type in the world. It serves mainly children and adolescents to explore the secrets of exact sciences through play.

The initiative aims to bring the science and education environment closer to the practical aspect of using knowledge. It is also a new platform for cooperation between universities and local government. It assumes developing and deepening experiences and joint organization of activities of a scientific and didactic nature.

The cooperation between PWSZ and the Włodawa Poviat, in accordance with the concluded agreement, will apply to the implementation of scientific, research and implementation of European and national projects. The parties also want to jointly raise funds for the implementation of their projects.
