The State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Chełm will receive almost PLN 15 million for the implementation of two projects that aim to improve the practical competences of students of the Chelm higher school.
The projects are co-financed from the European Social Fund. The first project “PWSZ Development Program in Chełm for regional development” received PLN 7.7 million and will be implemented from June 2019 to December 2022. The second project “Comprehensive university development program II ” received PLN 7.1 million.
The first project consists of three modules. The first two include education in the field of Mechanics and mechanical engineering, specialization Helicopter piloting, workshops with airline representatives and study visits at the Emergency Medical Service. The third module is based on activities improving the didactic competences of the university’s staff.
The main objective of the second project is to acquire additional qualifications and competences by students, teaching and management skills and IT support for management tools by university staff.
