Professor Jarosław Niedojadło will be the new rector of the State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Elbląg this September. He will replace Prof. Eng. Zbigniew Walczyk, head of the university since 2011.
The Electoral Collegium of PWSZ unanimously supported the candidacy of Dr Jarosław Niedojadło.
Rector-elect is a specialist in the field of machine technology. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology (PG). He obtained a PhD in technical sciences at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1995. In the years 1996–2000 he managed the Department of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Elbląg in the rank of Vice-Dean for Education.
From the beginning of the existence of the State Higher Vocational School in Elbląg he has been the director of the Polytechnical Institute. In the years 2002–2007 he was the Vice-Rector for Education of the Elbląg PWSZ.
