This month construction works have begun at the Monoprofiled Medical Simulation Center. It will be used by nursing students of the State Higher Vocational School in Konin from October. Two floors of the university building have been designed for the Center’s rooms. Thanks to reconstruction and delivering specialized equipment the rooms will resemble hospital rooms and offices. 

Future nursing apprentices will be able to train practical skills with the use of modern equipment reflecting the working conditions in teaching laboratories, including clinical situations. The role of patients will be performed by “phantoms” of adults and children, which will allow them to practice nursing and medical treatments.

The project “Establishing a Monoprofile Medical Simulation Center for the nursing at the State Higher Vocational School in Konin” is implemented under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020. The value of the project is almost PLN 2.5 million.
