The Witelon’s State Higher Vocational School in Legnica was inscribed by the Office of Rail Transport in the register of training and examination centers for train drivers and train dispatchers. Soon, the faculty of technical and economic sciences at the University of Legnica will start specialized trainings for train drivers and traffic controllers.

The trainings will be conducted with the use of the SMART railway simulator for the driver and the PKP Traffic Control System simulator. Both devices are equipped with the faculty of technical and economic sciences.

The SMART railway simulator is equipped with the desktop of the Newag 6 DG locomotive, simulation software with the SIM Factor route library and an instructor station. The Traffic Control Simulator consists of five stations for students and an instructor station.
