Michał Zwierz, a student of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, designed a wheelchair with increased mobility, which won the LifeScience category in the Student Construction Competition KoKoS 2019.

He studies Automation and Robotics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics.

Over 36 projects have been submitted to this year’s KoKoS Student Construction Competition. The winners in the remaining categories are:
Railway – a locomotive (scale model 1: 5,5) implemented as part of the Railway Challenge by Poznan University of Technology,
Joker – locator for recreational divers Wavy by Lodz University of Technology.

Smart Robots – a mobile research platform Scorpio X by Wroclaw University of Science and Technology,
Vehicle – car Maria of the Motorsport team from Poznan University of Technology,
Ecology – motorcycle LEM Thunder by team LEM Wroclaw University of Science and Technology).
