The Student Foresters’ Club of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań received the awards: “Forest Institution of the Year 2018” and “Oak Woodlander Statuette”. The award was given for Faculty’s nearly 100 years history and its achievements.

The jury awarded the formation of active attitudes for many students, through organization of scientific camps, stimulation of social activity of forestry students and commitment connected with commemorating the history of the Forestry Department and the Foresters’ Club.

The jury also appreciated the improvement of professional knowledge within the dozen sections operating, creating positive conditions for the development of student talents and the role of a recognizable, solid brand of the Poznań Forestry Department.
