Godlove Suila Kuaban from Cameroon, a doctoral student at the Silesian University of Technology, has won the competition for the best foreign student INTERSTUDENT 2020.
The competition is organized as part of the Study in Poland program, run by the Conference of Rectors of Polish Academic Schools and the Perspektywy Educational Foundation. Its purpose is to promote the best foreign students at Polish universities. In this year’s competition 70 students from over 30 universities participated in the competition.
The number of foreign students is systematically growing at the Silesian University of Technology. In 2016, they were 72, while in 2017 and 2018, the Silesian university was chosen respectively by 133 and 181 foreigners as the place to acquire knowledge. Godlove Suila Kuaban is a third-year PhD student in computer science and an assistant at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gliwice.
