Sebastian Stempniak, agricultural engineering student at the Faculty of Agriculture and Bioengineering of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań took first place in the competition “Helmut Claas Scholarship 2019” in Harsewinkel (Germany).
The Helmut Claas Foundation has awarded agricultural science students from various European countries for the twentieth time awards for outstanding engineering work, which are projects of modern agricultural machinery design solutions or bringing innovative solutions to applied agricultural production technologies.
The award-winning work of a Poznań student is “Design of a device for applying protective liquid during potato tuber harvesting”. The laureate received 2,000 euro for his invention.
