Kinga Sadowska, a student of landscape architecture at the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław, has won the Vectorworks design scholarship and the Richard Diehl award for the project to revitalize the area in front of the Wrocław Nadodrze train station.
The national winners were selected in four competition categories – architecture, landscape architecture, stage lighting and stage design as well as interior design. Sadowska’s project was the best in Poland. At the international level a student from Full Sail University in Florida was a winner.
Kinga Sadowska carried out an inventory of land, landscape, photographic and historical analysis, analysis of the condition of buildings, pavement and communication, as well as dendrological inventory. She set the main compositional axes referring to the old layout, but above all she focused on emphasizing the shape of the building.
