Aleksandra Stasica, a student of the architecture department of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, took first place in the “Architectural Sketches” competition organized as part of the Poznań International Construction and Architecture Fair BUDMA. Her work was also appreciated by Internet users, awarding her second place in the audience competition.
The theme of the competition was “Man – Architecture – Environment”. The works were made using traditional technique and had to take into account the issues of care for the natural environment, which could be manifested in the creation of responsible and functional architecture of the objects or spaces.
85 sketches from all over Poland were submitted to the competition. The jury of the architects and artists evaluated them in terms of visual and aesthetic values, innovation and sensitivity of the work done, formally refined artistic expression, precisely and studied ideas, as well as in terms of using the whole set of appropriate means of expression.
