The game “Weakless” created by students and graduates of the University of Silesia won the audience award at the “Game Access Conference” in Brno. This is another award for the Cubeish Games and Punk Notion teams.
“Weakless” is a puzzle-adventure game depicting the relationship of two heroes: people with sight dysfunction and people with hearing impairments who, thanks to mutual help, can overcome obstacles. It was created thanks to the support of the ARP Games accelerator, established by the Industrial Development Agency, Spin US, which is a special purpose entity of the university and the Cieszyn Poviat.
The core of the game “Weakless” is solving logic puzzles and exploring the surroundings with the help of the characters’ vision and skills. At any given moment, the player controls only one of the characters, which means that he can not simultaneously use the sense of sight and hearing. The game is distinguished by its own graphics, awarded in the Game Art Design category during the ANIWOW Animation Festival! in Beijing.
