Students from 15 countries to study Sustainable Biomass and Bioproducts Engineering in Wrocław

15 people from all over the world, each from a different country, are beginning their studies at Wrocław University of Science and Technology as part of the unique Sustainable Biomass and Bioproducts Engineering programme. It is being run jointly, as part of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programme – by Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Castilla-La Mancha University from Spain and Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology from Finland.

Representatives from Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia were successfully recruited for the first ever Sustainable Biomass and Bioproducts Engineering course.

During the four-semester degree programme, the three universities will train specialists in sustainable biomass processing and bioproduct engineering. Each graduate will receive a diploma from all universities. The students will spend the first semester of their studies in Wrocław, reports the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
