18 students from Luoyang Normal University and North University of China started their studies at the University of Bialystok (UwB).

Guests from China will spend the semester at the University of Podlasie and will participate in classes conducted in English in five faculties: biological and chemical, economics and management, physics, pedagogy and psychology, and law faculty.

Internationalization is one of the priorities of the University of Bialystok, which concerns both science and didactics – says Dr Mariusz Popławski, Vice-Rector for Development and International Cooperation. China is a strategic direction for us, because more and more students from this country are going to exchange and study abroad. We are intensively striving for cooperation with local universities and, as you can see, it is starting to bring results – adds the vice-rector of the University of Podlasie.
