The AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow and the Poltava University of Technology from Ukraine have signed an agreement on the possibility of studying under dual degree and academic mobility programmes.
The agreement applies in particular to students of the Poltava University of Technology’s MA programmes in Petroleum and Gas Engineering and Mining, and sets out the rules for them to undertake and receive education at AGH as part of full-time MA programmes in Petroleum and Gas Engineering and Geoengineering and Borehole Mining.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of AGH Prof Jerzy Lis and the Rector of Poltava Technical University Prof. Volodymyr Onyshchenko.
According to AGH, the meeting between the rectors of the two universities was also an opportunity to discuss the determination of priority directions for the provision of assistance to Ukraine by higher education institutions in Poland and the implementation of the Polish-Ukrainian project “Centre for Ukrainian and Polish Student Youth”.
