Five groups of students from the Department of Commodity Science at the University of Economics in Poznan prepared innovative food products in the Quick Meal Solutions category for the Żabka Polska SA retail chain of convenience stores.

Presentation of the effects of their 4-month work was very successful. One of the proposals was immediately accepted and it will be soon directed to the stores. Management and control services representatives realized that also other solutions meet the needs of selected consumer groups, market trends and company requirements. The chain is interested in their commercialization.

The project was implemented as part of the classes “Designing food products”, conducted at the Department of Food Science at the University of Economics in Poznan. (Kp)
