Students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Architecture of Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz) will travel to Ukraine in September to explore the nineteenth-century Potockis’ villa, which is part of a complex of historic buildings in Antoniny.

The Potockis’ villa is located in Antoniny next to Żytomierz, and the whole complex consists of several dozen buildings. The villa that will be analyzed is a former clerical casino with living quarters. The students are planning to make an inventory of the facade, which is the most impressive part of the villa, and testing the materials inside the building, including plasterwork. The complex in Antoniny has not been studied yet and has no conservation documentation.

It will be the first such trip to Ukraine organized by the Rzeszów University of Technology. Earlier similar trips were organized in Poland.
