Students from the AGH University of Science and Technology worked out the RTC 7.0 combustion car

08.07.2021

The AGH Racing student team of AGH Racing, operating at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, has been working on a new vehicle for the last two years – a combustion car. Students assure that the RTC 7.0 is their fastest, most durable and most innovative car.

For the first time, students used a lightweight and rigid composite load-bearing structure called a monocoque, which ensures predictable and consistent work of its suspension.

The appropriate design of the vehicle guarantees its very good maneuverability and stability of the aerodynamic elements.

The RTC 7.0 is shorter than its predecessors and has a lowered center of gravity by around 40 mm. It is powered by a modified Honda CBR 600RR engine generating 100 horsepower with a weight of 195 kg – reports the AGH University of Science and Technology.

Over 100 team members were involved in the work, who spent many months in design, simulation and testing.
