A team of young programmers from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Toruń received the prize of the Mayor of Toruń. Students were awarded for creating the “Arrange” application for arranging the rooms.
“Arrange” is a system enabling virtual furnishing of rooms. It was developed a team of students of the third year of computer science: Kamil Bojarski, Mariusz Dzikowski, Artur Nasiadko, Paweł Stabla and Arkadiusz Staśczak.
The pioneering technology of extended reality was used to insert furniture into the rooms. Only an Android or iOS smartphone is required to use the application. The project also operates a website where users can browse the catalog of available furniture in a three-dimensional view, and furniture manufacturers can manage their products in an easy and convenient way.
