Poznań University of Technology students took the second and third place in the Polish EDP University Challenge 2018 competition organized by the global leader in the renewable energy market, EDP Renewables.

The second place was taken by “Electric Vehichles Energy Storage Management System” by Mikołaj Walkowiak and Józef Borys. The third place was taken by Edyta Bosacka and Damian Sikora, authors of the project “Hill heating system to improve the functioning of bee hive”
The task of the EDP University Challenge participants was to prepare the project in one of four areas: Innovation – projects increasing the use of renewable energy sources; Efficiency – researching technological innovations that enable increasing the efficiency of production processes of renewable energy sources; Marketing and strategy – increasing awareness of renewable energy and / or EDP Renewables activity promotion in Poland and Sustainable development – environmental protection and local development.
