The Minister of Science and Higher Education awarded the Diamond Grants for the eighth time. The winners include six students of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
The scholarships for their research were obtained by Jakub Buda for his „Bioaccumulation of radioactive isotopes and their impact on populations of organisms in the supraglacial zone of glaciers”; Kinga Kułaga for her “Nighttime song of daytime birds – side effect of light or functional behavior ?”; Rafał Świergiel for “The role of political and social processes in shaping the constitutional system of the Republic of Poland”; Michał Wieczorkowski for “Obeying the rule. The status of interpretative rules in the practice of applying the law in the light of Wittgenstein’s skeptical paradox; Adrian Walkowiak for “Selected transition metals (Fe, Ti, V, Nb, Ta) in various matrices as catalysts of oxidation processes using light and / or hydrogen peroxide” and Paulina Książek for “Between madness and non-normality: the heroines of Krzysztof Penderecki’s operas”.
