Four students of the Faculty of Mining Surveying and Environmental Engineering of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow have been awarded in the national competition for diploma theses in the field of geodesy and cartography.
In the category of the best engineering works, the winners were Maria Małgorzata Zegar and Aleksandra Jasińska for the work “Analysis of the quality of the Łącka Dune models developed with UAV”, and Kacper Mikołajczyk received a distinction for the dissertation “The use of modern geodetic technologies in the inventory of the Krakus Mound in Krakow”.
Jakub Gruca, the author of the work “Development of a plug-in for QuantumGIS for planning photogrammetric raids” took second place in the category of the best master’s theses, and the work by Radosław Andrzej Polak “Use of Google Earth Engine images in IACS control” was awarded with a distinction.
