The Centre for Space Technology at the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Krakow, AGH Space Systems and SpaceTeam AGH participated in the International Astronautical Congress held in Paris.
AGH Space Systems presented Kalman, the Mars rover, this year’s winner of the European Rover Challenge. SpaceTeam AGH showcased the lunar regolith transport device, TOLRECON, which won second place in the Over The Dusty Moon Challenge 2022 in Colorado, USA.
According to AGH, the students have already been offered internships and scholarship opportunities. They have also had the opportunity to talk to astronauts, space agency specialists in robotics, propulsion and navigation, and space mining.
The participation of student scientific clubs in the Congress was possible thanks to an invitation from the Polish Space Agency (POLSA).
