Two students of the Faculty of Architecture of the Bialystok University of Technology (PB): Alicja Jaroszek and Justyna Laszczkowska received awards in the sixth international competition “House in Forest 2020 – Wooden House”.

The goal of the “House in Forest 2020 – Wooden House” competition is to promote original ideas for the protection of the forest and its environment and focus on problems related to urban design and raise awareness about sustainable development.

This year’s competition focused on wooden houses. Participants had to come up with a new and original concept of a wooden house in a forest environment. Organizers recommended inspirations from pavilions and various, unusual constructions referring to the landscape.
