Esther Staes and Christopher Wijono, students of International Security and Development at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, were awarded within this year’s CYBERSEC Young Leaders Initiative competition.

The articles of the competition winners will be published in the “European Cybersecurity Journal”. They will also be given the opportunity to participate in the CYBERSEC 2021 Program Council and will be invited to participate in closed thematic meetings during the CYBERSEC Global 2020 conference.

The CYBERSEC Forum is one of the largest meetings in Poland devoted to issues of cybersecurity. Starting in 2015, this conference is a forum for discussing the threats, challenges and opportunities arising from the development of new technologies, the expansion of cyberspace and the digitization of everyday life.
