Jagiellonian University Mediation Team, composed of Marta Nawrocka, Elżbieta Schulz, Antoni Otałęga, Michał Żyłka, won this year’s oldest international mediation competition in the world – INADR International Law School Mediation Tournament in Chicago.

Students of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University (WPiA UJ) defeated 58 teams from around the world.

The tournament was held at the Faculty of Law of Loyola University in Chicago. After three rounds of preliminaries, in which 58 teams competed, students of the Jagiellonian University advanced to the 16-team semi-final, to finally compete with teams from the United States, India, Canada and Ireland. Ultimately, the WPiA UJ team won first place in the Advocate / Client category and also the sixth place in the Mediator category.
