Two Poznan University of Technology students became the laureates of the Ministerial Diamond Grant program, intended for graduates of engineering / bachelor studies or students after the third year of regular Master’s studies who carry out research.
The co-financing will allow Grzegorz Miebs to examine new methods of computer-aided decision, resistant to learning data imperfections, and Hanna Orlikowska to implement the project: “Use of forced emission microscopy for imaging systems with very low fluorescence efficiency, in particular selected components of model biological membranes”.
This year, Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin awarded over PLN 17 million to finance the projects of exceptionally gifted students. In the 8th competition, an expert jury selected 85 winners. They will receive up to 220,000. PLN for the implementation of their first independent research projects, lasting from 12 to 48 months.
