The Smart Power PolSl team representing the Silesian University of Technology participated in the 34th Shell Eco-marathon Europe in London. The electric car MuSHELLka constructed by the students took the 30th place in the prototype category.

Every year, Shell Eco-marathon Europe brings together students from all over Europe and Africa who take part in the competition of designing, building and testing on a professional track with the utmost energy efficiency in three petrol, hydrogen and electric categories. This year over 1500 participants from 28 countries took part in the competition, constructing totally 140 cars.

SmartPowerPolSl is a team operating within the Students’ Scientific Society for Modeling Machine Structures at the Silesian University of Technology. It joins enthusiasts from the mechanical technological; automation; electronics and computer science as well as chemical faculties.
