The team of students of the University of Economics in Poznan won the competition “City in motion” organized by the Poznań University of Technology, University of Economics in Poznań and the City of Poznań in cooperation with Volkswagen Poznań Ltd.

The aim of the competition was to explore the development strategy of the Poznań metropolis until 2050 with particular emphasis on urban transport and logistics solutions as well as to create scenarios for the development of cooperation between local government administration, science and business.

The authors of the winning project analyzed the challenges in the future transport of goods and transport of people. The group provided concrete solutions proposals in the form of applications designed to facilitate the flow of people and goods.
Students Cezary Brudka, Klaudia Chomiak and Adam Rozynkowski received a cash prize of PLN 22.000. and the possibility of two-month internships at Volkswagen Poznań Ltd.
