Two students at the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław have been awarded the Scholarship of the Minister of Education and Science (MEiN). The scholarships are awarded to students who can boast excellent results in various fields of education, often also international successes.
Mateusz Jajczyk, student of renewable energy sources and waste management, received the scholarship for co-authoring five scientific articles in the fields of environmental engineering, mining and energy.
Emilia Biczel, engineering graduate and master’s student in geodesy and cartography, was awarded for an article in the journal Przegląd Geodezyjny and for her participation in a research project conducted in the Śnieżnik Massif and the Bear Cave in Kletno.
The MEiN scholarship is one of the forms of honouring students with outstanding achievements in science and sport. It is a one-off payment of PLN 17,000.
