Szymon Jankiewicz and Anita Łęgowik, students of logistics at the Faculty of Management at the University of Lodz (UŁ) won the first place in the final of the Faster Mind Challenge International Competition organized by FM Logistics.

It was the third competition under the slogan: “Show logistics a way to the greener world!” The students sought solutions for: reduction of the carbon footprint in the conducted activity, reduction of energy consumption, development of ecological offers for clients, ensuring health and safety of employees.
The final took place in Paris, where the students from Lodz presented a project Vortex Bladeless generators to raise energy for the needs of logistics platforms. They overtook teams from France, Spain and Russia.
