Two teams of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz became winners of the 10th nationwide competition “Student Inventor” organized by the Kielce University of Technology.

Marta Gackowska, Natalia Jerks, Sandra Śmigiel, Dr Eng. Damian Ledziński and Prof. Eng. Piotr Cofta were awarded for a drone swarm communication system designed to avoid collisions. The solution is adapted for environments with a high density of drones, performing a wide spectrum of tasks of civilian and military significance. The system can be used in light shows, search and rescue missions, U-Space, and military operations.

The second team from the University of Bydgoszcz of: Anna Panasiuk, Sara Zych and Dr Stanisław Jung won a special award from the President of the Polish Patent Office for the Pump Chest solution.
