Students from the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw won the XXIV Academic Central European Championships in Team Programming. Warsaw students were the only ones who solved all 12 tasks prepared by the organizers.
The competition took place from November 30 to December 3 in Prague. 74 teams took part in them, representing the best universities teaching computer science from Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.
Other teams representing the University of Warsaw took the 3rd, 5th, 16th, 17th and 25th places.
The project was supported by Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the project “The best of the best! 3.0.” and sponsors: PKO Bank Polski and Atende SA.
