The students of geodesy and cartography of the Warsaw University of Technology arrived to Starachowice, a town of 50,000 inhabitants in the Świętokrzyskie Province, with their own works, presenting not very attractive places of Starachowice before and after the changes.

The students were invitated by the city authorities, as part of the cooperation that has been going on for several years. Projects were presented at the seminar organized in the municipal office of changes in settlements and municipal facilities.

Marek Materek, mayor of Starachowice stressed that student projects presented 4 years ago, concerning the new development of the city park have been implemented. He assured that also this year’s proposals of Warsaw students will be implemented.
