The FORTHEM Alliance of European Universities, including the University of Opole, has won funding for the next four years of operation. FORTHEM will receive more than €14 million from the Erasmus Plus Programme budget to continue multilateral cooperation and integration within the framework of the alliance established in 2019.
In the course of further cooperation, new forms of academic exchange and mobility in the field of education will be implemented, including a virtual ‘campus’, and funding will be provided for the activities of interdisciplinary thematic labs that allow researchers to involve students and partners from the university environment in joint projects.
Funding will also be provided to support international research groups applying for grants and for events, including training dedicated to young researchers. There will also be funding for academic outreach and socially engaged initiatives, and experimentation and innovation in teaching.
