The Department of Pediatric Endocrinology and Rheumatology at the Teaching Hospital of the Medical University of Poznań will be officially included in the European Reference Network for Rare Endocrine Disorders (Endo-ERN).
The network’s activities are aimed at improving access to high-quality health care for patients with rare hormonal disorders by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, performing specialized tests, supporting comprehensive health care in order to provide patients with professional lifelong care.
The clinic in Poznań is one of the two Polish clinics in the Endo-ERN network. Its head – Prof. Marek Niedziela is a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology. His team looks after children with many rare diseases. Joining Endo-ERN will significantly increase the possibility of supporting the development and quality of life of these patients.
