On September 21-22, the conference “Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovations in Rural Regions” will be held. It will be a summary of the project “RurAction. Social Entrepreneurship in Structurally Weak Rural Regions: Analyzing Innovative Troubleshooters in Action”, in which researchers from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań have participated. The conference will be held online.
The aim of the project was to investigate how social innovation functions in structurally weak regions in Europe and to understand the role of social entrepreneurs in initiating innovation. For two days of the conference, members of the consortium and researchers from around the world will present the current results of research on these topics.
The university in Poznań is the only Polish member of the RurAction consortium. During the conference, Prof. Tadeusz Stryjakiewicz and Barrai Hennebry, MA will present the results of their research and present a documentary film prepared as part of the project.
