From Monday, June 25 to Friday, June 29, the summer school “Physics used in archeology, geology, materials engineering, environmental engineering” will take place. This is a series of classes at the Silesian University of Technology for secondary school graduates.
The main goal of the summer school is to present the subject of research conducted at the Institute of Physics – the Scientific and Didactic Center of the Silesian University of Technology. The subject has been selected to allow participants to expand knowledge in physics, but also learn about its use to solve problems faced by scientists.
During the summer school students will be able to visit specialized laboratories of the Institute of Physics and participate in practical workshops conducted by specialists. Participants will receive a certificate of participation in the summer school and 3 ECTS points (European Credit Transfer System). The University offers 60 places.
