A summer school of Polish language and culture has begun at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) in Poznań. 80 lovers of the Polish language from far corners of the world have come to the Poznań university to improve their language skills. The courses will last three weeks.
Eighty enthusiasts of the Polish language, Poland and Wielkopolska have come to Poznań from almost 30 countries. They are scholarship holders from the Summer Course of the National Agency for Academic Exchange and participants in the Summer School of Polish Language and Culture at the Adam Mickiewicz University.
The guests have already had the opportunity to listen to lectures on literature, culture and the media, take part in an integration quiz about Poland and an atmospheric walk through the old town.
The programme of the school provides many attractions: in the mornings, participants have the opportunity to explore the secrets of the Polish language, while afternoons are devoted to taking care of the body and soul (yoga), Polish and Greater Poland realities, as well as city and regional tours.
