Summer School “Summer School on Data Science” conducted in the Information Systems Department of Wrocław University of Economics has been the winner of the Polish part of the European Competition of Charlemagne Youth Prize 2019. The final of the competition will take place in Aachen on May 28.
Data science and machine learning are rapidly evolving. They combine skills from various fields of knowledge – from the classic statistical analysis, through software development, data management, to knowledge of business. The Summer School at the University of Wrocław is led by Dr Ryszard Zygała and a team of graduates and students of the Department of Management, Computer Science and Finance: Karolina Sterc, Marta Jagoda, Katarzyna Walachowska and Paulina Zyskowska.
European Award Charlemagne is awarded annually by the European Parliament and the Foundation of the International of Charlemagne in Aachen.
